2. Well, that's another total eclipse missed (by me)...

Kind of disappointing.
It's not like I've made it a priority, but I'd would have probably traveled somewhat if I could have.


But I do enjoy watching the "pinhole" effect in the warm weather ones as the tree leaves intersecting help to cast the various crescenty shapes during partial eclipses.

Oh kayyy the last total eclipse for the NYC area was 1925.
Chicago hasn't seen one in over 100 yrs. We're getting close that.
