This post (as we used to say here) is useless without pictures. Who’s to say the organ, that we lack, is at the wrong end of birds that actually have them?

I hope that Dr. Kariko’s former employers are suitably abashed, embarrassed, and nay even humiliated. I hope that by this time she’s well-situated in a fully-funded academic environment that appreciates her.
