5. I just put the book on hold at my library.

Side note: I have some friends who are American Indian, and several years ago when one of them told me about a Pow-Wow in my area, I didn't attend, and when she later asked me why not, I said that I thought people like me wouldn't be welcomed. She was astonished, and assured me that of course I and others like me are absolutely welcome to the Pow-Wows. How nice to learn that.

I try to be appropriately sensitive to others' culture and so on, and while I am curious, I never want to intrude where not wanted.

But we all have so much to learn from each other.
