"Y'see, Your Wonderfulness, once upon a time a gang of criminals managed to game the democratic process and seize power in a certain country. Pretty much like your buddies in the Family Research Council and related asshats are trying to do right now in the USA.

Now this gang of criminals really needed international recognition. So a guy named Eugenio Pacelli helped them out. He was the Papal Nuncio to Germany and had the Vatican officially recognize their government, with a document called the Concordat.

And a few years later, Eugenio Pacelli became...Pope Pius XII! And just like Pope Francis today, he was an inspiration to us all. He managed to serve as Pope even though he spent the years between 1933 and 1945 totally blind, deaf and mute."
