Religion In The Comics - 042 [View all]

From June 1948 comes this bit of approved reading in the pages of Catholic Comics volume 2 number 9. Art is not credited, but may be by Robert Saunders. I don't see a religious angle, but this title features many stories without spiritual overtones.

My comment: Fuck You Van Brugge! The opening page mentions the near extinction of the white rhino. So what does the great white hunter do upon meeting a family of rhinos? He kills two breeding parents. Here's a religious angle: I hope you are burning in Hell, Van Brugge.

I tried to find some info on the internet about this asshole, but there is an actor with the same name, and the only relevant sites I found are in German or other language. I did find this worthy site: http://www.rhinorage.org/
