7. Yea, it's California, should be Poison Oak

Poison Oak/Ivy have long been used as ornamental plants, mostly in Britain. The rashes caused were usually attributed to "hysteria" or just classified as "Some folks are super sensitive to it's oil" Poison Oak is cultivated as a California Natural plant, and used as a barrier to keep people out of restored habitats.

Really you should be more concerned by things like the Castor plant used as a landscape shrub all over Southern California.
