I really enjoyed reading this. I am sorry your dad is no longer here to spend time with you, but you seem to have such lovely memories, which at least keep him alive in your heart and soul.
I love the photo of your mom and dad! Aren't they such a happy and attractive couple? They were together a long time. They are so beautiful together.
