The hits keep coming [View all]

Just heard that one of our old friends passed away. He was 81. At one time, he was good friends with my husband and became good friends with most of the people in our family. He was a party guy and in the 70s, in our 20s, that was perfect. In the 80s, in our 30s, not so much. My husband and I settled down to raise our kids and got away from drinking parties and all nighters. There were adjustments in our 40s and most of our family members, moved to other places. Our friend stayed. We lost touch with him, even though he was an important part of our lives for many years. I was sad to hear that he is gone. Most of the people I knew then have passed on.

I'll go raise a glass to friendship.
