Debate, if you can call the views expressed as somewhere between totalitarianism and laissez faire capitalism as a 'debate,' the incredible LOSS to honest farmers and citizens. Not to mention generations to come and all the other beings on the planet that require clean water to survive.

A person can work their life facing the uncertainty of weather conditions, or a maddening job in town, to hold onto to a piece of life giving land. Their labor is stolen by these resource thieves, just as surely as an invading army had come in to seize everything.

What is the war, that insists this be done? For who is it being fought, and why don't people see that they are under attack?

I applaud you and your neighbors who see that the life of the land is being stolen out from under them, but I'm sure you have some quislings who are selling you out.

This is happening globally at an ever increasing pace. Are we headed for that golden age some talk about, or the extinction of most of us? And will we get our heads out of the river Lethe and let this go on?
