1. Raping the country is no way to insure progress.

No better here, as our oceans, waterways, mountains, swamps, and anywhere oil can be sucked out of the ground are polluted and destroyed. What do we see from all of the gold being mined in this country on public lands? Are our oil and gas prices cheaper when we sell it to China and other countries? How long will we be able to drink our water, or eat fish taken from polluted rivers, lakes and streams? So, we have some jobs; but, the profits made by our giant corporations do not trickle down to us in any meaningful way. Honestly, how much more money can the rich absorb?
