Before the Indian PSA exploion, we had the 6-year old kissing the unwilling girl one, which I triggered when I was unwilling to accept as just sweet and adorable. Even before we knew for sure that the girl didn't want it, I protested, because it was really disruptive behavior, when the teachers had told him he wasn't allowed to kiss in class. However, too many (even among those who had actually read the article, which wasn't many) felt that the boy's right to kiss a girl wherever, whenevet was the most important thing. And well, when the girl's mother countered the lies of the boy's mother, too many, especially the usual suspects, thought that 'shaming' the boy for his desires was worse than depriving a girl of her bodily autonomy.
