"Be very careful going onto an elevator alone with an unknown man."

"I was waiting for an elevator and there was a man on it I didn't know so I skipped that one and got another.'

"That's so rude! How do you think that made him feel? How dare you treat all men like potential rapists!"

Or was it a parking garage?

"Be careful in isolated places like parking garages."

"I was in a parking garage and saw a man I didn't know so I circled around to avoid him."

"That's so rude! How do you think that made him feel? How dare you treat all men like potential rapists!"

Talk about mixed messages! If we don't follow this advice it's our fault we got raped, but if we do follow this advice we're evil angry women who hate all men.
