8. Once, years ago, I heard a PSA on Air America (that's how long ago)...

It was a PSA modelling a father teaching his son that the portrayal of the girl characters in his story book were negative, unreasonable, disempowering.....

I was so shocked I nearly drove into the ditch. I'd NEVER heard such a thing. And sadly, I haven't heard it anywhere since.
