66. Sea.. It is very unfortunate to see that jury hide in this thread, but you should be aware

that both your HOF hosts have been general forum hosts (and members of MIRT in the past). In addition, you'll see other HOF members on the current, on past, and on the GD Forum Host waiting lists. That gives us exactly one opinion each and decisions are made by consensus, which are often far from unanimous. But, it does allow for a broader perspective to be presented and that is important, IMO.

I don't know what the alerter thought they were suggesting in pointing out that I am a current GD host as well as a co-host of HOF. I certainly do my best to leave my biases outside of the GD hosting discussions and have recused myself at times when I felt it appropriate. That does not prevent me or others from presenting a more balanced perspective, however. I certainly have no problem with the list of hosts having been posted here. It is available to all with a single click at the top of the GD forum.

Sheshe has brought very important issues to the forefront of discussion. While the original thread was locked from further discussion in GD, let's make sure that these side issues don't let it be derailed again.
