He also seems to have a very poor grasp on what "objectification" actually is - reducing people to two dimensions, or finding them sexually appealing, isn't even the half of it. It involves the active (if perhaps not entirely conscious) denial of another person's full humanity, to the point of disregarding their needs and feelings entirely, or almost entirely. It's what makes possible everything from sexual assault, to the theft of employees' wages and savings.

Of course, this is only scratching the surface of what's wrong with the piece. But frankly I don't feel like wading in any further at the moment.
