I had such arguments in mind when writing the OP. They also make a point of speaking out against those who object to catcalling rather than the violence used to maintain it. They make clear that they see speech--feminist and/ or in support of human dignity--as obhectiobable, as "bullying," because it interferes with what they see as their natural right to impose their will and their presence on women. If a woman says attention is unwanted, that should be enough. Instead, they insist their will , their right to exercise power, is more important. Their very arguments in justification for catcalling demonstrate the extent to which the behavior is about control.
