as much as it demeans those who choose not to. SAHMs don't have a meaningful choice if staying at home is the only alternative. In addition, it undervalues the sometimes superhuman strength stay at home parents need to do the job if it is something that should be "natural".If it is 'natural', it is no longer a job, and nothing should be difficult about it, and those who struggle with it (pretty much all SAHMs do,) are as unnatural and wrong as those who do not choose it in the first place. In other words, he manages to be a toad to both women who choose differently, and women who choose traditionally.
