Thanks for posting. Maybe it's just my relatively recent introduction to house/electronic music, but I feel like there's been a growth in popularity, if not respect for, female DJs. My playlists tend to run about 2:1 m/f, and the gap is getting closer. I'd say that most of my friend's tend to have close to that ratio as well.

This is, of course, not to suggest that everything in the article isn't happening, just that there may be positive growth happening.
