16. Never offer to trade firearms (or anything else) unless the ad mentions trades.

I traded a pistol and some boot for a dirtbike on craigslist back in Feb, but the ad mentioned trades being welcome.


We both come away happy on the trade...except now I have to replace a 9mm to replace the one I traded.
