What was the knock knock 'joke' supposed to do for zimm's defense? .. his defense atty started off: knock knock, who's there?, george zimmerman, george zimmerman who? OK you can be on the jury.
I guess he was trying to show how it was impossible for a jury to be seated without pre trial knowledge of the zimmerman, hinting at prejudice. Turned out 'off color', eh?

I know how that may sound a bit weird, in this context, under these circumstances, but I think you’re the perfect audience for it,.. West then told his ill-timed knock-knock joke. “Knock knock, who’s there? George Zimmerman. George Zimmerman who? All right. Good, you’re on the jury,” he said, poking fun at the jury selection process and the media’s intense coverage of the trial. No one laughed at West’s joke, however, and the lawyer tried to argue the humor of it.
“Nothing?” West asked incredulously, as a couple people laughed awkwardly. “That’s funny!” Perhaps West didn’t realize that joking about an accused murderer knocking on your door isn’t exactly humorous.

My question about the taped screaming 'No NO!' just before shots fired. Would someone with a gun be so terrified by an unarmed person he had been following for a while even if they'd started fist brawling? it would far more likely be someone with a gun pointed at him, screaming.

Knock knock
Who's there & why are you following?
Me & my Gun
Me & my Gun who?
Me & my Gun go BANG you're dead.
