2. Not a bad idea. Since most gun fanciers are also bigots, maybe courses can help in that respect too

Sadly, I don't think most gun fanciers -- particularly toters -- care if people don't like it. In fact, that is probably one reason these intimidators/bullies get such a kick out of strutting around with a gun. For many, it's their singular achievement in life.
