don't give a shit who gets killed/shot as long as they can cling to their guns and they think that they will be able to defend themselves from the government, Red Dawn style. It's actually freaking me out that all of the things that may have been suspected are true and that gun ownership is a high indicator of a fearful, paranoid person who doesn't care about the harm that is being caused to society by gun violence.
