Two days ago it appeared that the gun control legislation in Virginia [View all]

would not pass. The pending bill would restrict possession of guns from people with more than two violent misdemeanors and those with restraining orders.

Immediately the NRA/ILA signaled victory which was repeated by Breitbart, The Blaze, Ammoland, the Daily Caller and two dozen other pro gun echo chambers.

Well, the rumor of McAuliffe's center piece legislation's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

With a few tweeks and some honest negotiation with the opposition, it passed.
