2. WTF does being a "gun nut" have to do with his theft of water?

Did he use a gun to steal the water? Of course he didn't, so why confuse a legitimate criticism of the man (he is accused of the theft of water and is apparently guilty, since his attorney has agreed to compensation to the water district for the stolen water) with the fact that he is an advocate for the 2nd Amendment?

Look, I have absolutely no respect for Selleck. He's a shitty actor and obviously an entitled prick who believed he was above the laws that everybody else had to obey. He should be facing criminal charges but won't, probably because he is asshole buddies with the local law enforcement community.

But all that has fuck all to do with his affiliation with the NRA.

Oh, and you make it sound like Selleck personally drove the water truck up to the hydrant and filled it up. I don't think even the water district has said that. He's a Hollywood big shot so he wouldn't get his hands dirty, he had his people do it for him.
