3. We got the lead out of our gasoline because of health and mental issues.

So it makes sense to work to limit lead exposures from the last group experiencing damage from lead exposure.
A start would be checking for blood lead levels for any firearms buyer (and they children). If the lead level is too high, no more guns for you! Finally something to "Think of the Children" that is actually a concern.
