I can identify with some of what was written.

I think for each survivor the way they handle it is unique to them. They need to do what helps them get through each day.

For some it's talking about it for others not so much.

I've never shared my full story here, only that I am a survivor. I don't know if I ever will.

The article was a good piece of writing. I'm going to read it again.

I also want to acknowledge that the author is a man. Society makes it harder for men to talk about being victims/survivors. I can't imagine how difficult it was for him to talk about. He has my admiration.
