. . that I went to school at Bellagio Road Elementary with her daughter Susan Landau around 1969. I see the school in now Community Magnet Charter School and was for some period the Bellagio Road Newcomer Center Elementary serving the children of recent immigrants. Go figure.

The main thing I recall is that the bus I took from Westwood also stopped at houses in Belair, many that were only a few blocks from the school, because most of Belair had no sidewalks. As a kid I thought that was bizarre. I had never seen such a place.
