I think Goldfinger is a good choice at number one. FRWL is great, but I do think Goldfinger embodies what made Bond truly fantastical at that point. However, I can't believe they place FRWL that low.
Never got the appeal of OHMSS. I think it's a hipster answer. Lazenby is just not a good Bond, despite the other strengths of the film. I did think Telly Savales was the best Blofeld.
Spy Who Loved Me was okay. Moore's best outing, although he was good in FYEO and LALD.
Loved Goldeneye. One of my top 3 favorites. Brosnan showed so much potential, and then every film went downhill from there.
The Living Daylights was another one in my top 5. Underrated. License To Kill was meh for me.
Live and Let Die is fun. The blacksploitation Bond.
Thunderball used to be my favorite Bond film as a kid. Now it is really, really boring to slog through. 20 minutes of underwater fighting.
I love Moonraker and Diamonds Are Forever. I don't care, I know everyone hates them. Moonraker was the first one I saw on TV as a kid. Diamonds Are Forever is Sean collecting a paycheck, but I feel he's more into it than in YOLT.
The World Is Not Enough.....best theme song, boring film.
The Man With The Golden Gun, Octopussy and Die Another Die......AWFUL. View To A Kill is bad too, except for Christopher Walken's hammy performance.
Honestly, the Craig films sort of all run together for me. I didn't think Casino Royale and Skyfall were any better or worse than Quantum of Solace. Looking forward to Spectre.
