I enjoyed it, and after it was over, we spent time trying to figure out which character was which historical Hollywood figure.

I assume that there was supposed to be some kind of message in the conversations that Clooney's character has with the "Communists", but it didn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It sounded like 1950s buzzwords.

I would rank this as a middle-of-the-road Coen Brothers film.
