7. Haven't seen it, but my son did -- and I asked him about it.

He liked it well enough, but he said it was way too loud. (This from a West Point graduate who spent some thirty years in the U.S. Army.) When I asked how many decibels, he said, “115.” I hope he was off by at least 10 decibels, but Rex Reed said essentially the same thing: entirely too loud, with the music being the main problem. For that reason, I will not be going to see it in a movie theater. While I may miss out on some spectacular visuals, I don’t want to be blasted out of my seat. If you go to see it in a theater, you’d be well-advised to take some earplugs with you. You can thank me later.

You can thank me later. Me, I prefer films with character development -- even if it’s fictional characters in a film about a real event.
