3. A number of years ago, (decades ago, to be honest) someone took the main musical theme from "Giant",

and made it the soundtrack to a TV commercial for Chaps Cologne.

It was the first time I'd ever heard the theme. My mother recognized it right off, and dug out the old soundtrack LP and played it for me.
