11. I read the book, it was a good quick read. Charming, funny, bittersweet.

Haven't seen either film yet, but heard good things about the Swedish one.

I suspect there will be some not insignificant changes in the Hanks version to cater to whatever American audiences supposedly want/expect from a film.
