I've read many Stephen King books, but don't recall that one.

Christine the movie is actually pretty solid, good pacing from beginning to end and doesn't fall apart. It's a product of the 80's and it shows but is a must-see for King fans. The acting is mediocre but doesn't detract significantly. The stop motion special effects are great and not something you see anymore.

I just finished rewatching the Lawnmower Man which is similar in many ways. But Lawnmower Man hasn't aged well. Those CGI special effects suuuuuuuuuck now.
