or sick, your numbers can go up.

I had bronchitis or something from last of Feb. to 1st of April. I don't have to check my numbers every day, so I'm lucky there. But I was going to stay on my schedule. My open container of strips had expired. So I got another box out. When I got ready to run the control test, my control solution had expired. The container of strips I had was going to expire this month, so I ordered a new box of strips and control solution. When it came, I set up to do the control test, and found that the battery in the meter died. I decided that the universe didn't want me to test. A week or so later, I ordered batteries. I changed the batteries, opened the fresh strips, and did the control test. After a month of delay, I finally tested and was happy to see an acceptable fasting number.

Be sure to check your supplies that they aren't expired, and check information about your blood glucose levels and illness. You might be reassured.

Hope you get through your self isolation with no symptoms showing up!
