I have been diabetic a long time, probably before I was grown. But I wasn’t diagnosed until 2010.I’m 72 years old. After I had Covid in 2020, my body seemed to stop producing any insulin at all, so I had to go on Insulin glargine (long acting). I was up to 70 units a day. Trulicity seemed to work too well and I nearly went into ketoacidosis. But with the Ozempic, I’ve been able to get down to normal blood sugar readings.
I hope the nausea ends soon. I’ve only been taking the 1 mg dose for three weeks now. And my dose of glargine is going down weekly. Now on 36 units.
