11. I've been using high-CBD, low-THC for my knees for a few years.

I have a volunteer shift on Thursdays when I'm on my feet a lot, and my knees were getting the better of me, so I started doing a couple of hits of a high CBD strain on Wednesday evenings. A couple of weeks after I started smoking it (I've since switched over to a vape pen) I was at a friend's house for dinner. I did something I hadn't been able to do in a few years...stood up from my chair without using my hands to push up from the edge of the table. My friend noticed right away.

I've recently been using a strain called Harlequin, which is high-CBD, but with enough THC to keep it fun and interesting . I've also used some that were pure CBD, and had good pain results but less fun.0

It seems like what it does is kill the inflammation, so repeated movement doesn't make it worse. I was amazed when I could just feel the pain draining out within a few minutes of use. With the low THC I get 'relaxed for about 20 minutes.

Haven't tried any high-CBD edibles, other than some canna-butter I made from some weed I had left after my cardiologist asked that I stop smoking it. He seemed to be OK with the edibles and vape, though. The butter works, but there was a little more THC in that batch than usual, so after about an hour of eating it I'm floating pretty good....but pain-free!
