One could easily picture him in the White House, at the podium with the presidential seal. Cool, calm, and collected, and willing to deal with the facts of a crisis and not empty, misleading happy-talk.
I bet one prevailing feeling among viewers was - man, THATS the President we should have right now. THATS the Resident we need right now.
As for Bernie, the stature thing was just not there. He didnt look, act, or sound presidential. I have a hard time picturing him standing there giving a State of the Union speech. I have a hard time picturing him at the presidential lectern now r sitting behind the Resolute Desk. Cant help it. All he did was scold, as usual. Enough!
