Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Democrats should NOT set the precedent [View all]LizBeth
(11,116 posts)16. Ok. I am seeing what you are saying there but flattening will only happen with shut downs
and people isolating which is the whole purpose now and of course it will save lives. The results will be what you say but people are going to need to get back out there and business are going to have to start getting busy and making money again. Hence not wanting it to last into Nov. I hope we can shut everything down, flatten it and then as summer arrives and ??? Whatever, cause I do not know anything about this stuff.
I mean, you are not suggesting shut downs, borders closed people staying home thru to Nov, right?

primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

If no election has taken place to choose House members, does Pelosi still take over as POTUS?

Using a crisis. What kind of people do that? Almost there with what Trump is doing with the crisis.

Don't worry. No matter how much some might wish for an extension before the end.

It's not the parties that pospone elections, the States do. Ga. has delayed the primary to May 19.

Bernie's surrogates have been pushing for that, and people here have echoed the call.

I don't. Flattening out the curve is going to take down businesses and peoples job.

It amazes me how many 'undecided' want to end the primary...which Sanders supporters also support...
