The 2004 election actually made me furious for days. But getting too emotionally bound to candidates/politicians, or really any public figure, is an unhealthy thing to do, IMO. But yes, many of the ones I'm seeing losing it are people who are basically neophytes, some in the 50s and up, but simply haven't paid any attention in the past. Guess being a lifelong political junkie makes me cynical, haha
