Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon nomination may not survive new investigative reporting by the New Yorker Magazine, detailing years of financial and personal misconduct, and sexual impropriety and misconduct when he led 2 veterans’ groups, reporting so bad that even his lawyer has started to distance himself from Hegseth, as the Trump Transition team lets it be known that they are “pissed” at Hegseth.
Michael Popok predicts that it is likely that Hegseth pulls his own nomination a la Gaetz, and Trump is likely regretting giving the media so much time to “vet” his candidates. - 12/02/2024.
