4. I had both hips replaced at the same time at 63.

It cured the back pain I had been suffering with my whole life. Took about a whole year to fully recover from the surgery.

I think the cause may have been uneven leg length. I was very active and athletic when younger. Hiked thousands of miles in all terrains.

Now I hike and walk 80 minutes daily.

Gave up heels many decades ago. Silly things, like men's obligatory neckties.
