(36,426 posts)255. Agree. Bought the first Mac available to use in my work.
Prior to that I had a programming (mainframe) class and had to learn stat packages to conduct research. Long distance fiancé and I communicated on a precursor to the internet (because we were too poor to afford long distance phone calls then). Etc., etc.
There were lots of people in my situation. The skills needed for some apps today obviously differ, and individuals differ, but its just not correct that boomers are in general uncomfortable with technology.
