20. My immediate response to this post, Yui, was a very loud "WHAT?!"

I hope with every fiber of my being the scenario you're fearing doesn't come to pass. Please maintain some hope; it's too important not to. Elderly politicians die of natural causes or become infirm; defeated political causes often rebound with force; doors sometimes open when there seems no path forward.

Keep us all posted and know that there are many people who you've never met in person who care about your well-being very much. If you ever feel a need to drop a line to a virtual Dad or virtual Uncle, you know how to reach me and I'm a good listener.
