13. FWIW...

Before I left DU the first time I was already speaking out about the genocides in Syria and the Uighurs in China (which is still happening but since it's not on the news every night it's not a sexy enough political cause for the left). On Twitter I was speaking out about the genocide in Darfur... That's three human rights atrocities with death tolls many times higher than Gaza, and I hope they also get their proper attention on DU...

As for how I would have voted if I saw my people getting slaughtered, well I sure as hell wouldn't be voting for the Nazi madman dictator who would make things much, much worse... Especially after Netanyahu personally visited him in Florida to cut a side deal where he almost certainly promised not to agree to any ceasefire or hostage exchange until after January 20... But that's just me...

Like I said before, they made their principled choices and now I'm making mine. Business, not personal.
