In reply to the discussion: After backing Trump, low-income voters hope he doesn't slash their benefits [View all]yardwork
(64,942 posts)16. Why does she have a Ford F-150 truck?
Why is she only a part-time tax consultant? Why doesn't she seek a full-time job?
She's 55 and she's depending on food stamps and social security (maybe from a deceased spouse?) to live?! That's crazy.
Does her 17 year old son have a job?
I'm sorry to sound harsh but if she was one of my kids I'd tell her to get off her butt, sell the super-expensive truck, and get a full-time job. And the kid needs to get a job too. And there's nothing wrong with riding a bike to buy groceries.

Yes, as he selects multiple billionaires to his cabinet, he is very attuned to the needs of poor people.

This is the only satisfaction I will get to see those suckers who voted for the sociopath getting burned by him.

Yeah, I find the "abandoning the democrats for Trump" thing very suspicious as well.

Touch the hot stove, Lori. When you get your food stamps cut by Trump, this is how he'll expect you to cook your meat.

"I think he knows it's the poor people that got him elected, so I think Trump is going to do more to help us."

Trump has never struggled financially. He has no idea what it's like to be poor

The real lesson learned (doubtful) will be if they (MAGA's) actually STOP voting Republican
