Yes, people were too caught up in bullshit (much of it sown by Trump) about what Kamala would do or wouldn't do. And yes, it's a fricking disaster that people were warned about what he might do (including Project 2025, which he lied about having any connection to) and still voted for him. They will get hurt and hard. And it's their own fault.

But the continual blame-tossing at the media is really off the mark. The real media and real journalists reported hard and often about what he would do. Many people didn't take the time to read. The media also printed a lot of opinion pieces before the election. Don't confuse opinion pieces with news reporting. They aren't the same.

As for Maher, he is nothing more than a pundit. He doesn't deserve any special boost for his platform. In fact, he doesn't deserve anything. He just hosts a TV show. BFD.
