death and destruction are their only goals and they were willing to use the innocent people of Gaza as sacrificial lambs to spark a regional conflict to draw in groups/countries regionally to destroy Israel. The almost worked, the conflict to did regional, but still failed to destroy Israel. And the recent fall of Assad and Russia's military failures (i.e. they are too bust with Ukraine to help terrorists in the middle east at the moment) have pretty much guaranteed Israel is not going anywhere.
