China's out [View all]

Last edited Fri Apr 11, 2025, 04:09 PM - Edit history (1)

Xi just stated that he's not going to engage in any more tit for tat tariffs. He also said that American goods are no longer "viable" for his country.

So trump has single handedly lost a huge market for American farmers. Gone.

This of course flies in the face of trump's happy talk of making a "deal" with China. They're sick of this crap and not going to take it anymore.

To those asking for a link it was at the beginning of Katy Tur's show on MSNBC. Apparently, the substitute for Tur was referring to a Wall Street Journal article with the headline "The U.S. and China are Going to Economic War-- and Everyone will Suffer". She then added that Chinese officials added in statement that after this they are done going tit for tat, and then quoted an NBC News article in which the Chinese ministry said "Given that, at the current tariff level, U.S. exports to China are no longer commercially viable," and "China will not respond to any further tariff hikes..."
