Clearly Biden has counseled the Israelis if they must strike Iran (before the election) to not hit nuclear sites (potentially provoking Iran to use nuclear weapons, if they have them, but before they lose the capability) and not hit oil facilities for the risk of spiking energy prices, inviting Iran to hit other Gulf states oil capacity or setting off significant worries about supplies with winter fast approaching.
