They have a Polish nanny who has been with the family since my daughter even met her guy. She is helping us out with some serious overtime. But money is not the issue. The little ones are most comfortable with people they know. Small children are not comfortable with their parents vanishing and complete strangers taking over for days on end. The little one screams his head off if my wife leaves the room for even fifteen seconds. She recently went over to New York for a week to help our daughter out when her husband was sent on a business trip. She works full time, and their nanny was on maternity leave, so my wife is more of a trusted presence than I am.
